About Me

(Marcy's Introduction) Weight loss 2012: I have started this blog to keep track of how many pounds I lose on the #1 selling weight loss drug, hydroxycut (original formula). From this day forward I will be keeping track of my daily weight, a record of my daily workout routine, and listing the meals which I have consumed within the 24 hour periods. I plan on doing this for a year so people can read on how effective this is, and despite my humiliation I will be posting weekly pictures of my body to demonstrate any signs of progress. ----- (Brittni's Introduction) Weight loss 2012:I am starting this blog to keep track of how many pounds I lose one years time while using one of the #1 weight loss drugs, as well as monitoring my portions and also through exercise. Unlike Marcy, I will be using Hydroxycut Max! For Women. I will be keeping record of my progress throughout this process describing in journal form the amount of Hydroxycut Max! I consume daily, my daily workout routine, and the foods I eat. I will also record my daily weight, as well as post a picture of my weekly progress.

January 25th, 2012-- Day 2!

Brittni's Journal Entry:
Day 2

January 25, 2012,

Weight- 219.2

I have lost 4 oz. in just a day! If I continue to lose at this speed I will lose 2.8 lbs a week which is really awesome! My personal goal is to lose about 70 lbs. I’m so incredibly excited.
I have taken my Hydroxycut Max! for women 2/3 times today. For breakfast I has  ¾ cup of dry Cinnamon Toast Crunch (130 cal.)  (all we have as of now is whole milk and I want to “shop around” and find a healthy, tasty substitute.) For lunch I had a Premium Bacon Ranch Salad with grilled chicken from McDonalds (241 cal.) with ½ cup Newman’s Own Ranch Dressing (170 cal.)

I decided to start counting my calories when I ran across an amazing calorie counter called www.Myfitnesspal.com. You plug in your stats (weight, height, age, etc.) and it tells you how many calories you should take in per day. You plug in your meals and it counts down the remaining cal. have left for the day. Marcy and I both find this extremely helpful and suggest that anyone counting calories check it out! (they also have a mobile apps for those of you on the go!)

As for exercising, I have walked .74 miles, baby in tow, with Marcy and have been drinking plenty of water!

I also ate a servings worth of Philidelphia Orginal Cream Cheese (70 cal.) with a serving of Keebler Town House crackers, lightly buttered (80 cal.) for a snack after our walk (:

Dinner is in the oven and we will be eating some amazing (and < 300 cal) Marinated Baked Pork-chops (241 cal.) with ½  cup green peas (60 cal.) and ½ cup white rice (190 cal.) and for dessert, YES dessert… I will be having a slice of Cola Cake (90 cal.) de-lish!

We will be linking you to some amazing low calorie recipes that will really tickle your fancy (;

Until next time, friends!

Day 2:

January 25, 2012,
This morning when I stepped on the scale I was rather shocked to see it spit out the number 135.6! Either my scale is broken or this diet/water intake is working very quickly!
For breakfast I had (once again) a piece of toast with peanut butter on it, and today I also added a small portion of banana yogurt just to add some fruit to that equation.
I am still taking hydroxycut three times a day before each meal.
I am still drinking 64 + ounces of water a day.
Today I walked around the park with Brittni for a little over an hour. I was so glad to see that the weather was nice enough to work out outside! Can’t believe we are having this kind of weather in January.
We both got a bit hungry, and a small snack never hurt anyone! Brittni and I both had a handful of crackers with a bit of cream cheese on them inbetween lunch and dinner.
We decided to make baked marinated pork chops for dinner (see brittni’s journal entry for a link to the recipe), rice and peas for dinner. For dessert we found a recipe to make a chocolate cola cake (recipe also included in brittni's journal entry)… basically, all you do is replace egg and milk with 12 ounces of cola and pour that into whatever cake mix you may want… to my surprise, one slice is only 99 calories! Almond milk is an amazing substitute for whole milk to drink on the side (only 90 calories).
Not only will I be doing zumba tomorrow, but I will also be starting my first day of p90x. Yes, I am very intimidated… However, I am so determined to reach my goal that I am going to push through this like a champ!
As Brittni mentioned above, I as well have started counting calories. To my shock, it isnt nearly as hard as I have made it out to be over the years and the website http://www.myfitnesspal.com/ makes it even easier! The amount of water intake has not only made me feel better, but also has made me feel as though I have more energy. It has really been a while since I have felt healthy and this has been an amazing start to an entire new lifestyle for me. After I accomplish this, I plan on never letting myself go again.

Keep on reading,
M
